Introducing Felicity’s Horses

I firmly believe that when you buy a horse, you do not purchase ownership, but merely pay for the privilege of gaining a credible partner" (Felicity Coulthard 2002).

Hammah (or Harry as Felicity calls him) is a 15 year old 16.3 Registered British Warmblood chestnut gelding – by Louella Inschallah II and out of Laucherin. Within only 8 weeks of sitting on Harry for the first time they qualified for the British Dressage National Championships and the RDA National Championships. The above photo shows them at the RDA Champs where they went on to win the open class of this test (Test 25).

Kelsborrow Buccaneer (Bugsy) is a 14.2 hh 17 year old gelding by Cussop Rebate and out of Oakley Billowing Sail. They became partners in May 2002. Within the first month of this partnership they qualified for the RDA National Dressage Championships, British Dressage National Championships and took part their first British Dressage Paralympic international trials

Thirkleby Blue Rosa (Rosie) is a 14.3 hh 9 year old mare by Strinesdale Mastermind and out of Miss Bluebell of Thirkleby. 2003 was the first year of their competing partnership although Rosie has been part of the family since she was a yearling. Felicity is extremely proud of the fact that she backed Rosie as a 3 year old and has spent so much time schooling this young horse.
